Mathew learnt his trade working as a surveyor assistant for his late Grandfather. Mat's Grandfather was a surveyor in Napier for over 50 years. He then went on to get a Bachelor of Surveying from Otago before moving to Auckland to work for Thurlow's as a Graduate Surveyor. Mathew is great at balancing traditional surveying principles with modern technology.
